Applies knowledge and support to the facilities systems engineering group for the US Trident II Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program as it applies to facility infrastructure and support equipment primarily at missile processing facilities located at the Strategic Weapons Facilities and other support sites, such as CCAFS. Using knowledge of the missile processing at the SWF facilities, help to develop accurate ConOps of customer’s request that can be utilized for decomposition into a set of measurable and verifiable requirements. Applies knowledge of missile weapon specification and missile handling inspection, transportation and other missile processes into facility requirements documentation. That knowledge will translate to design documents and used for maintaining requirements, conducting trade studies for feasibility or identifying optimum solutions to missile processing facilities. Verify and validate the implementation of the product(s) meets requirements. Help integrate and coordinate a geographically disperse team of stakeholders to develop a total solution. Identify, understand, interpret and analyze missile production source documentation to develop requirement documentation that enables and ensures the SWS facilities and subsequent support equipment can support an activation, modification or alteration and maintain reliability throughout the facility life cycle. Maintain configuration of interface documentation as facility capability or functions change and/or evolve. Support sustainment of facility requirements for the FBM Program as it matures and evolves. Provide validation and verification oversight of missile processes during technical review and project implementation. Ensure coordination of facility interfaces occur when configuration change requests are made with FBM organizations located at various sites including SWPAC in Bangor, Washington and SWFLANT in Kings Bay, Georgia. Prepare presentations and technical briefings and support technical exchange, integration, and status meetings with other FBM and customer organizations

Basic Qualifications
Experienced Engineers with a strong Operations or System engineering / technical background and experience in the lifecycle methodologies for facilities and ground support equipment.

Experience with requirements documentation development, field inspection, demonstration and testing activities, and verifying and validating requirements.

Desired skills
Degree in Systems Engineering

Familiar with requirements decomposition/definition process and methodology

Experience working with various types of technical drawings for facilities and support equipment.

Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORs).

Computer assisted drafting (AutoCAD, REVIT, Pro-E)

Demonstrate presentation ability to Team

Visual Basic of Applications (VBA) Script

FBM experience that includes Trident II Missile System and Weapon System knowledge

Effective written and verbal communication skills and working with an array of team members including management, subcontract administrators, planners, various engineering design disciplines, financial analysts and/or operations personnel

Must be Self-motivated, with excellent relationship building skills

Willing to travel occasionally
