The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is looking for exceptional Entry Level candidate in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on System Engineering. This position will provide system engineering support for the integration, design, development, and testing of an existing system onto new aircraft platforms.
- Develop requirements and implementation plans for integration of hardware onto aircraft.
- Work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert on the systems and the aircraft.
- Develops tasks, cost and schedule and track to completion
- Documents and presents proposed requirements/designs
- Develop and exeute test procedures, test cases, test scripts, and unit tests
- Regularly interacts with customers throughout project life cycle
- Experienced in System Engineering
- Experience with System Integration of Aircraft
- Experience with MIL-STD Communication Schemes (MIL-STD-1553) as well as industry schemes (Ethernet)
- Knowledge of GPS, EGI, INU, and Navigation Systems
- Experience in Hardware In the Loop Testing
- Active DOD SECRET clearance is preferred
- Minimum Education: Bachelors or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related; post graduate education is preferred
- US Citizen and eligible for DOD SECRET clearance
