POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will provide system engineering support for the integration, design, development, and testing of an existing system onto new aircraft platforms. 

Basic Responsibilities

  • Develop requirements and implementation plans for integration of hardware onto aircraft.
  • Work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert on the systems and the aircraft.
  • Develops tasks, cost and schedule and track to completion
  • Documents and presents proposed requirements/designs
  • Develop and exeute test procedures, test cases, test scripts, and unit tests
  • Regularly interacts with customers throughout project life cycle

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experienced in System Engineering
  2. Experience with System Integration of Aircraft
  3. Experience with MIL-STD Communication Schemes (MIL-STD-1553) as well as industry schemes (Ethernet)
  4. Knowledge of GPS, EGI, INU, and Navigation Systems
  5. Experience in Hardware In the Loop Testing
  6. Active DOD SECRET clearance is preferred

Other Requirements:

  1. Minimum Education:  Bachelors or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related; post graduate education is preferred
  2. US Citizen and eligible for DOD SECRET clearance
