Job Details

Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for the Integrated Common Processor (ICP) Surveillance Program business area of RMS Undersea Systems and Sensors. The EPM will be responsible for directing the Lockheed Martin team and multiple subcontractors on all aspects of the program, with a major focus on platform tailoring and product integration and testing as well as site installation planning. The EPM will be a key participant in technical and programmatic communications with the customer and will be a key participant working within IPT to ensure transition of advanced development and cyber security constructs into a production baseline. The EPM will also interface with RMS Engineering and Technology Managers to ensure program needs are being staffed and schedules and budgets are accurately being performed against and managed

Responsibilities include standard cost, technical, and schedule performance of both LM and any partners/subcontractors/vendors/etc; Ensuring that work products produced adhere to documented requirements per critical path need dates; Working with program management to identify and address issues, both technical and programmatic across all ICP efforts; and supporting proposal efforts within the business area

The successful candidate must have a strong technical background; the ability to write/interpret/review performance requirements and provide technical direction is required; they must have the capability/ability to interface with the customer, subcontractors, and other agencies to perform highly technical problem investigations. Experience with ICP programs and business models and platforms, Hardware and Software Development/Test/Integration, and overall COTS based architectures is highly desired.

Required experience includes earned value management, scheduling, costing, understanding of RMS engineering processes, and familiarity with E&T functional organizations, including familiarity with Finance, Sub Contractor Management, Configuration Control and other adjacent organizations. Must have experience in leading/managing small to medium sized engineering teams on tasks that range from a few weeks to a year-or more in duration. Must have good communication skills (verbal/written), and needs to be comfortable with stand-up presentations
