Job Details

Plan, prepare, perform and document component, subsystem and system level EMI testing operations. Based on detailed test plans, develop test procedures and lead a team in executing the testing operations documented in the test procedure. Apply technical understanding of radio frequency systems to execute EMI/EMC, passive inter-modulation (PIM) and unit level antenna testing test operations. Develop, author and execute clear, detailed test procedures based on customer's test requirements for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinate and communicate status of testing activities with programs and other organizations. Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Facilitate the initiation and closure of discrepancy reports. Must be willing to work swing and grave shifts and weekends as required

Basic Qualifications
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to create and execute complicated test procedures

Experience designing, building and executing EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing operations.

Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and lead a test team

Bachelors degree in engineering or science from an accredited college in a related discipline with 2 years of professional experience; no experience required with a related Masters degree

US Citizenship required

Desired skills
EMC test experience with demonstrated RF system trouble shooting and test automation skills.

Experience with calibration, measurement and automation of Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers.

Experience performing electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing to military specifications (MIL-STD-461).

Experience using testing automation software (ETS-Lindgren TILE! or equivalent), MATHCAD, Labview and other data reduction and analysis programs.

Experience executing passive intermodulation (PIM) testing.

Experience performing antenna measurements using near field (NSI) or far field antenna (MI technologies) ranges

Active TS/SCI clearance
