•Serves as the Future Enterprise Program (FEP) Emerging Technologies Director
•Build and maintain staffing of a high-performing virtual team from multiple locations
•Direct the 4 Emerging Technology Solutions teams in the maturing of technologies to achieve the FEP Vision
•Support the FEP Program Manager in the planning and execution of FEP work. Conduct timely reporting of cost, schedule, technical and risk performance
•Manage the budget and schedule for Emerging Technology activities
•Understand the portfolio of Emerging Technologies, enabling timely and effective decisions
•Catalyze and facilitate collaboration between the solutions teams
•Direct the Solutions teams to shape the Integrated Environment appropriately, ensuring LM builds infrastructure that fully supports the Emerging Technologies
•Build and maintain an Emerging Technologies roadmap
•Guide the FEP Program Manager and Chief Engineer on technologies and partnerships of interest
•Technical Capabilities - Must possess and grow relevant technical capabilities; Leverage technical staff where required; embrace each technical event as an opportunity to learn more about possible solutions and applications
•Drive a culture of transparency and open collaboration across the Solutions teams
•The selected candidate must be able to become familiar with FEP Emerging Technologies
•The ability to travel for broad business area facilitation and team interaction is required and should be expected at approximately 25% of the time

Basic Qualifications
• Experience with leading medium to large collaborative engineering projects to successful completion
• Experience facilitating a diverse group of technical professionals to collaborate on common solutions
• Must be balanced in both program and technical management skills
•Considered an expert, authority in discipline

Desired skills
•The selected candidate must be a Full Spectrum Leader, with demonstrated success energizing teams, openly collaborating, and enabling their best performance
•The selected candidate will be a member of a high-performing virtual team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
•Must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent interactions with project leads and other business area leads.
•Experience in managing budgets and schedules.
•Security Clearance : Secret or Above or ability to reinstate one
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 20 years or more of professional experience; or 15 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
