This individual will be part of a multi-instructor workforce providing instruction in all variants of the Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT), Aegis Combat System Trainer (ACTS), Battle Force Electronic Warfare Trainer (BEWT) and SQQ-89 On-Board Trainer (OBT) systems to include peripheral elements of shipboard training systems. The individual will provide instruction on maintenance and operation of Embedded Training Systems (ETS) onboard Aegis Weapon System (AWS) and Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) configured Navy ships. The candidate will also participate in shipboard tactical training events as the training system supervisor effecting scenario driven training events. The candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to think creatively and solve problems as well as collaborate effectively with senior government and military staff with little supervision. Required travel to US Navy fleet concentration areas is approximately 25%

This position is contingent upon Contract Award and Funding

Basic Qualifications
The candidate should have at least three (3) years of operation and maintenance experience including shipboard and deployed experience. The candidate must be a qualified instructor, 9502 NEC or able to qualify as an Instructor at CSCS in accordance with CSCS instructions and able to prepare and present material to junior and senior enlisted technicians. The individual must be a graduate of any BFTT O&M course or have greater than 3 years of BFTT/ACTS on-the-job training. Must have the ability to discuss the BFTT/ACTS/BEWT/OBT systems in terms of operational concepts and have field experience in operation and/or repair of the AN/SPY-1 Radar system. Candidate must be able to obtain & maintain a secret security clearance
