Job Details

We are currently seeking a Embedded Software Engineers to design, develop, integrate, test and debug embedded system software. Candidates should have strong real-time, multi-tasking programming experience in C/C++ and Linux environments, and working knowledge of high-speed networking and data transfer protocols. Experience with high-speed transfer of video data is desired. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot efficiency, stability and defects in real-time embedded system software, and to support code development, review, integration, testing and debugging of embedded system software is required.


BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science degree with strong experience in computer software development, 6-9 years of experience preferred.
Strong programming experience in C, C++, Object Oriented Software and associated design principles. Additional knowledge of C++ 11, C++ Templates, and Python.
Proven working experience with embedded software engineering including excellent critical thinking and debugging skills.
Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multi-tasking real-time operating systems, Linux OS coding techniques, IP protocols, and hardware and software subsystem interfaces.
Working knowledge of OS Task scheduling for embedded systems, communications protocols, multi-layered software architecture (drivers, controls, presentation and application), microcontrollers, and embedded development environments.
Experience in the following: control systems & real-time control, diagnostic systems, network communication, serial protocols, programming, testing and debugging in an embedded environment and expertise in industrial data buses including Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, and CANbus is desired.
Hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets for real-time applications including robotics is desired.
Experience in customer delivery, integration, and field testing, with the ability to work in close association with internal and external customers to understand their needs and to address the issues is desired.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills including strong documentation and writing skills.
