Job Details

Position uses extensive aircraft working knowledge of P-3 avionics and electrical/instrument systems and the APS 145 E-2 radar system. Candidate shall apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved by referencing manufacturer’s manuals or similar documents. Experience in troubleshooting, operation, modification and inspection methods relative to the installed systems is essential. Working level knowledge is desired for all aspects of equipment operations including installation, maintenance and operation techniques, adjustment, calibration, trouble shooting, bench check, routine maintenance, inspection and intermediate level repair that may support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the P-3 and APS 145 related systems. Candidate shall be responsible for best safety practices and shop maintenance, and recommend corrective measures necessary to ensure adequate maintenance and safety measures are followed. Candidate may be required to frequently travel in support of remote site operations. This position requires that candidate be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays and is a rotating shift. Basic Qualifications
Experience with the maintenance requirement cards and the Isochronal Scheduled Inspection System (ISIS) inspection process for the P-3 type aircraft

A minimum of 7 years of recent aircraft related experience pertaining to the daily maintenance, inspection, logistics and operation of the P-3 fixed wing aircraft and its installed avionics and electrical systems.

Working level knowledge is required for all aspects of equipment operations including installation, maintenance and operation techniques, adjustment, calibration, trouble shooting, bench check, routine maintenance, inspection and intermediate level repair that may support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the P-3 related systems

Desired skills
Minimum 7 years of P-3 electronics organizational maintenance experience and minimum of 5 years radar experience

Experience with APS 145 E-2 radar system
