Job Details

The individual will participate in the design and analysis of test equipment in order to meet customer and contract requirements
Specific responsibilities include:
• Support the development of competitive and cost effective solutions to emerging customer needs
• Support electrical conceptual design and analysis.
• Develop electrical specifications and flow requirements
• Interface with suppliers and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions, leveraging common products and strategic LM technologies

Basic Qualifications
• Test and/or Measurement Equipment and techniques
• Experience with entire life-cycle of test equipment design: requirements definition, design, integration and/or test.
• Ability to perform failure analyses and develop/direct corrective actions
• Being a self-starter that requires only limited supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication (including technical writing)
• Demonstrated Excellence in people and interpersonal relationship skills
• Must have the ability to obtain a top secret clearance or a current top secret clearance which requires US Citizenship

Desired skills
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in hardware/software development, integration and test within an Aerospace environment
• Previous experience with Air Force Strategic Programs designs
• Strong leadership skills with ability to interact effectively with diverse program teams.
• Demonstrated Strong organizational, multi-tasking, communication, presentation and decision making skills
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes and/or logic analyzers
