This position is for a Test Data Processing (TDP) Systems Engineer assigned to work on the F-35 Program. The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as a full system integrator for the F-35 Data Processing Operation Product Line. The Data Processing Operations Systems are key data analysis venues for verifying F-35 Aircraft Vehicle and Mission Systems capability in a flight test environment. Responsibilities will involve integration planning and execution, resolution of product line anomalies and assessment of new system requirements. Candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to the TDP staff to support integration, operation, and upgrades to the system.

Secondary responsibilities will include development of system requirements and decomposition, designing/developing data management solutions, commissioning and installing new applications, analyzing and designing system processes, generating test plans, verifying requirements are met, maintaining complex data processing software and database applications, troubleshooting and resolving anomalies and following the full System Engineering process.

Candidate will use their ability to independently design and create hardware/software system solutions based on limited information on rapidly evolving projects. You will use your ability able to clearly communicate and share design decisions to the team. This role requires a highly motivated, organized engineer that is familiar with all aspects of systems development

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position requires an active Secret clearance to start

This position requires occasional travel

Basic Qualifications
- BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or technical field
- Demonstrated experience with performing system integration and verification testing on complex hardware/software systems
- Experience with one of more of the following: server installations, database design, data storage utilization, applications development, data communications, network setup and security protocol remediation.
- Experience with object-oriented software and database engineering principals and Agile development processes
- Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages (Perl, KornShell, PowerShell)
- Experience developing database applications

Desired skills
- Experience with RMF/JSIG
- Security+ Certification
- Experience with Windows Server OS, Windows OS, Linux OS, Solaris OS
- Experience developing applications in C++/C# using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or higher
- Experience supporting the full software development life cycle and working in a mature software process environment is desired
- Excellent Communication Skills – both written and verbal
- Knowledge of F-35 Vehicle and Mission Systems Architecture
- Database loading, development and management of operational procedures
- Demonstrated customer service driven
- An interest and capacity to learn new skill sets
- Ability to work a flexible schedule occasionally working after-hours to avoid customer outages
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
- Current active secret clearance
