Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and system interconnect and cabling designs in support of the Test Support Products
Job Description -The individual will participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, materiel procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance of cabling & interconnects for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multi-function integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy's Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program. Creates/updates project/process documentation that align to project requirements

Specific responsibilities
- Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test, and verification of missile test systems, including data review and trending
- Develops requirements from subsystem specifications to all locally assigned Support Equipment test systems.
- Interface with suppliers, customer, and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
- Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
- Technical oversight of subcontractor-supplied components and full-up testing systems.
- Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure
- Provide professional recommendations to subcontractors & suppliers.-Must be available for travel

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum five years of work experience in project develop life cycle
- Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrated test systems, and experience as Subject Matter Engineer or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to lead/coordinate with small, diverse teams in development of high technology products
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Desired skills
Extended experience with development standards & processes, including Mil Spec processes. Experience with developing/updating project documentation and coordinating with subcontractors Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
