Job Details

Directly supports FBM Support Equipment Products in the design and development of electronic Automated Test Equipment. Investigate and resolve issues with the hardware and/or software associated with Automated Test Equipment used for missile subsystems and component test and qualification. Performs requirements analysis, design, materiel procurement, and implementation according to FBM and Lockheed Martin process and procedures. This is to include test and integration and support to formal test / delivery of the product

This position requires the ability to interact, plan, and coordinate between Support Equipment Products Engineering and the production facility where this equipment is located and the personnel who operate and manage it. Directly engages with the Support Equipment Products management team and FBM Program leadership in the coordination and prioritization of hardware development/implementation tasks

Specific job functions include:
- Maintain team focus and cohesiveness in work environment where personnel, equipment, customers and management are geographically distributed between multiple states
- Promotes effective communication within organization as well as with US government customers
- Prepares and presents technical material to management and customer
- Performs validation of software and test-hardware
- Participates in technical reviews/audits of software products
- Performs documentation changes and maintenance in accordance with established engineering procedures
- Periodic travel and work at alternate work sites 25%, on average

*Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

College courses in programming related studies or at least 1 year of C, C++, or C#; OS Linux or Windows; Object Oriented Methodologies

College courses in electronics/electrical circuit studies or at least 1 year of experience with analog and/or digital hardware design

Desired skills
Experience with design/development of hardware used in support of Factory Acceptance Test of FBM Trident II D5/LE Missile System, Missile Packages.

Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentation.

Experience in the development of software used in electronic Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

Experience working with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) performing hardware and/or software integration/troubleshooting.

Experience using software configuration management tools such as IBM Rational Clearcase, Tortoise SVN, or equivalent.

Experience with NI TestStand/LabView/FPGA/Lab Windows CVI development tools.

Experience with Mentor Graphics, ORCAD or Zuken
