Job Details

The MITRE Naval Division is focused on delivering innovating concepts, technologies and methodologies that enable current and future Naval superiority.  Our Naval work program has a broad and dynamic set of projects that focus on research engineering, systems engineering, agile acquisition, cyber security, experimentation, and electronic warfare. We are seeking innovative and energetic engineers to collaborate closely with our sponsors and team to identify critical problems and needs of the Marine Corps and develop approaches to address them.


Key Functions

  • Provide leadership as both a technical and thought leader, maintaining currency in the latest relevant science and technology as well as developing new concepts for applying technology to warfighting problems

  • Lead projects, tasks, and teams and deliver capabilities and solutions to sponsor

  • Inform, guide, and implement SIGINT, MASINT, EW and EMS modernization strategies


Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of DSP concepts and communication technologies

  • Working knowledge of communications theory including waveforms, modulation design, signal propagation

  • Experience in SIGINT, MASINT collection and analysis and/or electronic warfare operations (offensive or defensive)

  • Masters Degree in electrical engineering or related degree

  • 10+ years of experience in signal processing or related field

  • 3+ years leading technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Masters Degree in electrical engineering or related degree

  • High degree of proficiency in electronic warfare, navigation warfare, and signals intelligence concepts
