Position is contingent on the need to fulfill future requirements

Individual will work as part of a team providing flight support; interpretation of surveillance systems products; O&M on aerostat avionics, acoustic sensors, ground sensors; operation of EO/IR sensor payloads, radar systems, military and telemetry radios. Conducts preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment; as well as O&M of aerostats and mooring systems in support of LTO aerostat systems CONUS/OCONUS
Performs other duties as assigned

The physical demands of this position and the operational requirements of the equipment can be substantial. Position often requires working in extreme temperatures, at heights greater than 15 feet, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and working in confined spaces while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

This position supports locations within the CONUS and OCONUS. Temporary duty and extended assignments will vary in timeline and according to requirements
Work location will be determined through customer direction

Basic Qualifications
Current (active within last 2yrs) or active DoD Secret clearance

O&M of electronic equipment to include one or more of the following:
• Video distribution systems
• Navigation systems
• Avionics systems
• Radio communications equipment
• Radar systems
• RF telemetry systems
• EO/IR gimbaled camera systems
• Fiber optic transmission systems (analysis, splicing, termination)
• Electrical and serial data cable terminations
• Test and diagnostics equipment (TMDE)
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics;
Proficient in computer/software operations, MS Office, Windows OS
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to pass a pre-deployment physical exam and dental exam

Desired skills
Experience with aerostat or Lighter-than-Air (LTA) systems;
O&M of C4ISR systems;
Experience with IT network systems administration, configuration, and repair;
Experience with server (RAID) hardware troubleshooting and repair;
Experience with server (RAID) administration and control;
A+ and Security+ certifications;
Cisco Certification(s)
Photographic/Image interpretation;
Experience/certifications in lead soldering;
Experience with Kestrel wide-area persistent surveillance systems
Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints;
Familiarity with military operations, acronyms, and military chain of command;
Effective oral and written communication skills;
O&M of mechanical equipment to include one or more of the following:
• Hydraulic systems
• Aerial lift
• Forklift
• Industrial generator sets
