Job Details

Systems Engineering Lead responsible for advanced sensor development, perform trade studies, analysis, requirements derivation, integration and test, and overall technical performance of the sensor

An Electro-Optical (EO) engineer performs design and analysis of EO candidate systems for both ground and airborne sensor suite applications. Starting with target/threat signatures in the optical/IR realm, the EO engineer performs design trade studies and system verification analyses to optimize candidate system performance, cost, size and weight. Models and design solutions are fabricated for laboratory test and characterization prior to development of system prototypes for further verification testing. EO systems consisting of advanced optical/infrared material and coatings, state of the art sensors, and advanced laser systems are employed to achieve desired system level performance when integrated system level tower and field testing is accomplished.

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have experience in radiometric Electro-Optics (EO) analysis and simulation. Position requires operational knowledge of MATLAB, experience with running EO performance analysis simulations, and experience developing target models. The capability to conduct parametric studies to support advanced EO targeting sensor and seeker development is desired

Candidate MUST have a TOP SECRET clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years

Desired skills
Experience with Code V, MATLAB and MODTRAN is desired
