Responsible to the Director of Electrical Engineering for the planning, implementation and oversight of the engineering goals and objectives for E&T and the Electrical Engineering directorate. Duties include management support to the Line of Business (LOB) E&T managers., Enterprise Support staff, Simulation, Board Support and Commercial Off-the-Shelf Specialty Application engineers. Provide technical and process oversight, recommendations and support to the program EE E&T managers and EE Managers as required. Responsible for LOB staffing support; coordinate with the FL’s to ensure the manpower forecast reflects the latest program and R&D project requirements. Ensure program and project staffing requirements are met. Participate in proposal submissions, program level reviews, and technical reviews. Support the Electrical Engineering process improvement goals and objectives. Duties include review and analysis of metrics data and implementation of process improvements. Establish and update technical standards as required, ensuring technical competencies are maintained. Support Human Resource initiatives including Performance Management, Merit, and Promotion Planning. Duties include the recruitment, hiring, retaining, training and career development of EE Department personnel

Must currently possess at a minimum, a SECRET security clearance

Basic Qualifications
BSEE or MSEE from an accredited college with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Must possess strong general electrical engineering knowledge and be familiar with circuit design and components to include electronics testing and troubleshooting. Experience in electronic system and subsystem design and test, systems analysis, software driven operations and test schemes. Ability to develop system and subsystem performance requirements and to use test equipment to support acceptance testing, manufacturing production and in-process testing, data processing and analysis. Must possess strong technical leadership skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills in support of team building, coaching and mentoring

Desired skills
-Functional management experience.
-Support Proposal activities, perform estimations, requirements and architecture definitions, and
design trade studies
