This position leads a team of Electrical Engineers in creating the next generation of moving cameras with world-class quality and performance in market-leading time frames. This position is a hands-on engineering position, where leadership also includes providing in-depth technical guidance and input into the technical decision making process.
Being on a small team requires the Team Leader to bring a diverse set of skills and experience that can be applied to optimize the product, the schedule, and successful implementation. Interacting with upper management and handling larger responsibilities as a program manager are expected in the position.
+ Drive a culture of innovation and excellence in the areas of electromechanical, optical, and illumination systems, as well as process improvement.

+ Through the application of strong communications skills, coordinate with other groups to manage development projects, complete developments, launch products, and transfer products to overseas mass production.
+ Develop and implement innovations to support roadmap strategy of Lancaster product portfolios.
+ Support System Architects and Product Managers in the development of building blocks and product roadmaps through technical input and feasibility analysis.
+ Resource planning and allocation in an Agile Environment.
+ Competency planning.
+ Provides technical leadership for EE hardware development.
+ Develops hardware prototypes and analytical simulations for design concept validation.
+ Evaluates component solutions and propose selections.
+ Coordinate tasks and provide guidance for technologists.
+ 8+ years detail design experience in embedded systems, high speed PCBA design, digital and analogue circuits design and meeting EMC requirements (including 3-5 years Team Lead or Project Engineering Lead Function).
+ BSEE is required, MSEE or MBA is preferred.
+ 10 to 20% travel is required, along with the ability to handle off hour phone calls to overseas sites.
+ Experience in stage gate development, preferably experience in Motor control and Mechatronics design is preferred.
+ Demonstrated success in managing a high-performance organization of professionals.
+ Must demonstrate an awareness of and ability to manage both cost and schedule constraints levied by program and product requirements.
