Lockheed Martin Corporation's Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is searching for a highly skilled senior electrical engineer (level 3) to join our rapidly growing team in Marion, MA. This role offers an exciting and demanding opportunity to contribute to, and grow with, a top-tier employer known throughout the world for its engineering prowess, diversity of product offerings, and robust solutions

This positon is for the Underwater Vehicles product line. The candidate must have a thorough mastery of mixed signal board level design skill including most (if not all) of the following: analog, acoustics, magnetics, motor controller, Class D amplifiers, power supply design, digital signal processing, testing, and troubleshooting skills for production support. The candidate must be able to reference a long and sustained history of many successful electronic designs

In addition to design expertise, the candidate must excel at directing technicians and junior engineers, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a history of successfully working with customers, program management, engineering project managers, and with multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams. Some overtime and travel are required.

In addition to engineering work, the candidate will be involved with bids and proposals, field testing, and customer presentations. The ability to work independently and the ability to be a self-starter are required

Basic Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have:
1. US Citizenship
2. A minimum of a Bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering
3. 5 or more years of professional level experience
4. Sound mixed signal board design experience
5. Strong theoretical and practical experience
6. Mastery of common laboratory engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, digital multi-meters, and other support equipment
8. MS Office suite

Desired skills
1. Simulink
2. Matlab
3. Zuken schematic capture
4. DSP algorithm and coding experience
5. Use of Clearcase
6. Effective presentation skills
7. Leadership skills
8. Software engineering expertise
9. High speed digital logic and signal integrity experience
10. Expertise using logic analyzers
11. Experience with underwater systems or other US naval systems or related products would be a plus
12. Excellent multitasking skills are a must
13. Ability to obtain a secret level clearance
