Job Title:Electrical Engineer (PE)
POSITION SUMMARY: Function as a member of a multi\-disciplinary project team responsible for the acquisition or modification and implementation of Instrumentation System projects; Scope of tasks includes: Power studies, hardware selection/design, integration, testing and documentation development including specifications and test plans/procedures\. Provide technical direction to less experienced personnel performing the above tasks\.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Personal computer and other general office equipment\.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Works in a general office environment\.
Education: BS Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics other scientific discipline plus six to eight years of related experience or a Masters with one to two years of related experience\. Two years of directly related experience may be substituted for each year of college not completed\. Site surveys may include some climbing, gaining access to confined spaces and occasional travel over uneven terrain\.
Experience: Must have a demonstrated ability & history of successfully directing technical activities; supporting project & study proposal preparation, negotiation, scheduling & coordination\. Knowledge of classical Systems Engineering processes such as functional analysis, requirements generation and allocation and developmental and acquisition program/project life cycles is also desirable\. Experience with power system design, integration and testing is required\.
Required Skills: Good written & verbal communication skills, experience with Microsoft PC products, self\-actualization & willingness to assume responsibility required\.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: A Secret security clearance is required\.
