Job Title:Electrical Engineer
**Electrical Engineer (Job Number: 170129)**
Electrical engineer with a strong hardware background in analog and digital circuit design with the ability to design software to support manufacturing operations.
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
+ Design and implement new fixtures as needed to support manufacturing operations
+ Design analog and or digital circuits for use with functional fixtures
+ Support legacy fixtures used in the internal manufacturing process or installed at contract manufacturers
+ Ability to manage and document new and legacy fixtures - BOMS, Drawings, Schematics, etc.
+ Ability to write and modify scripts as needed to support manufacturing operations
+ Work with CM’s to implement and maintain test fixtures as well as resolve test failures
+ Design new and maintain existing fixtures software utilizing C/C#/C++, Lab View or Visual Basic
+ Write plans, procedures, protocols for software/hardware testing activities
+ Write and execute verification and validation reports and protocols
+ Work with manufacturing engineers to develop electrical fixtures as needed
+ Analyze and implement cost savings in the manufacturing process
+ Ability to troubleshoot software / hardware failures on the manufacturing floor
+ Ability to troubleshoot electronic failures to component level
+ Provide manufacturing support with failure analysis
+ Implement process and product improvements to improve reliability and efficiency
+ Provide mentoring and training to test technicians and operators
+ Support failure analysis on all electrical parts
+ Support process managers on projects, processes and equipment
+ Work closely with design engineers on new product development and product implementation to the manufacturing process
+ Perform verification of new fixtures for requirements of compliance, reliability, and safety
+ Effectively communicate across numerous skill sets and functions in the organization
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
+ Minimum 2 years in an Electrical Engineering capacity.
+ Extensive knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
+ Extensive knowledge of one of the following program language Lab View, Visual Basic, C/C++ Ability to work unsupervised or in a team atmosphere
+ Knowledge of IPC standards
+ Ability to analyze a situation or data; evaluate relevant identifiable factors and translate this information into a meaningful proposal or action plan.
+ Ability to develop and carry out corrective action plan interfacing with multiple groups when required.
+ Ability to effectively communicate ideas and approaches in the form of proposals, plans and presentations.
