AnElectrical Engineer IIjob is immediately available in Orlando, Florida for our client within the aerospace industry.

Under the general direction of engineering management, responsible for the analysis and troubleshooting of company products to the component level. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

+ Investigate failures, diagnose, repair and perform basic to moderately complex analysis of fuzing products and/or components.

+ May involve preparation of drawings; basic design concepts that include the ability to analyze schematics, repair and evaluation of material discrepancies and non-conformances.

+ Develop detailed information for the definition and procurement of the required components.

+ Prepare qualification report, assist in analysis of test data and interpret performance of devices.

+ Examine product designs for application, material research and corrective action considerations.

+ Create, validate and verify product performance from high-level system, product performance or test requirements.

+ Perform a variety of basic mathematical analyses.

+ Collaborate with project teams providing input to the overall system performance, participate in Failure Review Boards and assisting in qualification, reliability and product testing over various operational temperatures.

+ Participate in formal reviews.

+ Prepare presentations for submission to customers and internal management.

+ Publish technical reports.

+ Provide support to supply chain and to manufacturing personnel.

+ Support will consist of specific technical input in accordance with the product performance, environmental testing and test equipment.

+ Apply principles and techniques of engineering to accomplish goals. May use computer-assisted engineering software tools and lab equipment to perform assignments.

+ Establish and maintain effective communication with internal/external customers to facilitate problem identification/resolution. Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, on design and/or repair concepts throughout diverse technical matters.

+ Proactively investigate and provide solutions of latent system and testing defects by researching a variety of technical information and historical data as required.

+ Guide and assist lower level engineers.

+ Maintain records, data and other pertinent information.


+ Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field. Master’s is a plus

+ Broad knowledge in the field of Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.

+ Concentration in small signal low frequency analog circuits, low complexity digital circuits and failure analysis,.

+ Ability to implement engineering solutions to existing designs from research, implementation and requalification.

+ Working knowledge of MS office suite, including MS Project software.

+ Ability to understand mechanical drawings and labview code is a plus.

+ Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.

+ Ability to work and interface effectively as part of a team.

+ Must be a US citizen and have the ability to successfully pass background screening.
