This position is to support the Lower Tier IAMD Sustainment Recapitalization (RECAP) and Contractor Field Service (CFS) Programs for returned Command Launch System (CLS) hardware

The ideal candidate
• Posesses a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Has hands on experience integrating and troubleshooting electronic assemblies in a field and/or lab environment
• Has experience with electronic production assembly processes
• Is familiar with RS422 serial, MIL-STD-1553, and VMEbus interfaces
• Is able to interpret schematics, interface specifications, and system requirements
• Works well with other Team members to troubleshoot and provide engineering disposition for returned customer hardware
• Is able to identify failure trends and support root cause investigation and corrective action
• Will support hardware failure investigations which may require travel to offsite locations
• Communicates effectively with internal and external leadership
• Will be required to communicate with various technical and non-technical disciplines locally and across offsite locations
• Will support internal meetings and have an opportunity to support external meetings with the Customer.
• Must be proficient in the use of general Windows-based PC applications
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth

Basic Qualifications
• Posesses a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

• Proficient in the use of general Windows-based PC applications

Desired skills
• PATRIOT missile system exposure is desired
• Has experience with electronic production assembly processes
• Is familiar with RS422 serial, MIL-STD-1553, and VMEbus interfaces
