This position reports to the senior manager of Specialty Engineering on the F-35 program. In this position the candidate will be performing scientific research, evaluating test plans/procedures, processing test data, and performing analyses concerning Electromagnetic Environmental Effects

The candidate will be involved in the allocation, coordination, and integration of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) performance and design requirements for aircraft assembly processes, the Air Vehicle System platform, its airframe, and individual subsystems. The candidate will participate in technical design reviews subsystem supplier equipment and generation of assessments to the requirements. The candidate will monitor subsystem supplier qualification activities, including the witnessing of tests and the creation of assessments for supplier qualification testing and analyses documentation. The candidate will participate in the planning, performance, reporting and record maintenance for aircraft testing and analyses. The candidate will participate in program, government, and industry interchange councils, technical issue resolution task forces, change control panels, trade studies, and technical review boards. This position will require up to 25% travel both domestically and internationally. Trip durations of one to two weeks are common depending on program needs

The candidate will support the generation and communication of E3 engineering design authority for electrical bonding, wire harness shielding, wire routing, electrical ground system design, and general equipment shielding designs

The successful candidate must be able to help develop, generate and present information utilizing computer readouts, graphs, charts, tables, written reports or other methods

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications
-Experience with technical writing

-Experience with MS Office Suite

-Experience with MATLAB

Desired skills
Ability to travel as needed. Ability to flex time to cover testing at multiple locations across the US and internationally. Experience with electromagnetics testing, RF test equipment, or lab experience. Knowledge of MIL-STD-461/464. Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compliance testing principles
