Electrical Engineer – Annapolis, MD

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level/New Grad Electrical Engineer in our Mid-Atlantic Region to service our clients in the area. This position could be based in our Annapolis, MD office.  You have the opportunity to make a difference by being on the ground, problem solving and implementing solutions to keep infrastructure operable and safe for the traveling public. 

We currently have numerous design and inspection assignments for transportation infrastructure related projects within the Mid-Atlantic Region. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs electrical design & inspection (i.e. low/high power distribution systems, industrial control systems, lighting, etc.) of electrical facilities including tunnels, bridges and transportation facilities.
  • Works with Sr. Engineers to prepare contract plans, special provisions, and engineer's estimates
  • Researches and evaluates design options and document findings
  • Job duties will involve a mixture of office and site work throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region





  • BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-EAC Accredited Degree); Specialization in Electrical Power Systems preferred
  • EIT preferred or the ability to obtain FE certifications
  • Zero to three years of experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Desire to work on projects on-site, solving problems and delivering hands-on solutions
  • Willingness to travel within the Mid-Atlantic Region
  • Highly-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to work as part of a team, in the office and the field
  • Experience with CAD software preferred, but not required
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
