Lockheed Martin is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer to support our SOF CLSS Program. This program is critical to the success of US service members deployed throughout the world. Our mission is to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work as part of an engineering team based in Lexington, KY. The team is focused primarily on modifying existing hardware and integrating components into various platforms based on customer specifications. Your job will be to develop component and system designs based on customer requirements and interface control documents or other similar information. Your designs will comply with applicable military specifications, SAE, ANSI, ASME, and other related design and drafting standards. Upon design completion, you will be expected to support the fabrication, installation, and integration of your design by providing support to the manufacturing and installation workforce as required

Basic Qualifications
Experience with aircraft wiring and electrical systems
Familiarity with SAE AS50881 design guidelines
Understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14.100 or related design and drafting standards
Ability to perform electrical analysis (loads analysis, cable signal loss, propagation delay, etc.)
Ability to create and review various electrical drawing types (wire diagram, termination, cable harness, routing)
Experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D drafting tool
Demonstrated previous success working in a team based environment to meet objectives
Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Desired skills
Experience with Radio Frequency/Interference analysis and/or cosite analysis
Experience working with MIL-STD-1553 data bus interfaces and communication
Experience working with modern datalink systems such as Link 16
Familiarity with C-130 or other fixed wing aircraft
Experience with Labview and/or Matlab programming environments
Experience with an engineering change process and/or configuration control process
Experience with modern electrical diagramming tool (Mentor Graphics, Electre or similar)
Experience with Catia V5 or other modern 3D parametric modeling program
Experience with Teamcenter PLM software
Active DoD secret level clearance
