Electrical Engineer 1 (Hardware)
Job Title:Electrical Engineer 1 (Hardware)
Electrical Engineering positions include: Antenna/RF Design, High Speed Digital Design, Algorithm Development, and Real-time SW applications for Signal/Data Acquisition, Audio/Data Distribution, Communications, Digital Signal Processing, and other mission system products for airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems.
Electrical Engineering positions with antenna and RF hardware emphasis require experience and/or coursework with RF/microwave engineering, communication system theory, electromagnetics, antenna engineering, and analog circuit design. Secondary knowledge of microprocessor control, FPGA and VHDL is beneficial. Prefer exposure to RF and Microwave fundamentals including lab work with spectrum and network analyzers. Candidates must have basic shop experience and skills.
Electrical Engineering positions with a digital hardware emphasis require experience with or exposure to high speed logic circuit design, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) designs using VHDL/System Verilog, Embedded Software design using C/C , and/or circuit board/unit level test design. Knowledge of communications and signal processing are desired. Duties include: unit/board level design, design schematic entry using Mentor Graphics tools, parts research/selection, design simulations, FPGA development, unit/board level test design, engineering analysis, systems integration support, and design/test documentation (specifications, interconnect drawings, schematics, parts list, test plan/procedures, etc).
Electrical Engineering positions with a signal processing software emphasis require experience with various computer architectures and operating systems, programming for standalone and embedded applications, and multi-processor programming. Knowledge of communications, signal processing, algorithm simulation using Matlab, and embedded software using C/C or similar language. Candidate will work as part of a product development team in one or more of the following areas: Algorithm development and simulation, embedded Software design using C/C , and/or multi-processor Digital Signal Processing. Duties may include: algorithm modeling; software design, coding, and testing of software products; and design/test documentation (specifications, design documents, test plan/procedures, etc).
