The AMMM Mission Systems & Software Director will be responsible for leadership, technical oversight, execution direction, and both cost and schedule performance of the AMMM Mission Systems & Software Teams and the System Architect and Software System Architect roles.

The aircraft platforms under AMMM are C-130J, C-130 Legacy, C-5, P-3 and S-3. Engineering disciplines reporting to this position include: Design, Integration & Test, Comm/Nav & Sensor Systems, Processor & Displays Systems, Software Development and Software Operations. Responsibilities include positive contract execution, including technical, budget and schedule, on all C-130, C-5 and P-3/S-3 programs. This position ensures the development of timely and valid quotes for all ECPs and Proposals. Provides direct support to Business Development, Business Ventures and ADP I&D in the pursuit and capture of new business and the execution of IRAD projects. Ensures the support and execution of all customer production, modification and sustainment contracts. Responsible for direct support to AMMM Production Operations, Supply Chain Management and Enterprise Sustainment to ensure on time delivery of all production and modification aircraft, and other deliverables. Additionally, responsible for the oversight and leadership of the System Architect and Software System Architect roles. The AMMM Mission Systems & Software position additionally has direct responsibility for technical engagement with numerous critical aircraft system suppliers, including the mission computer, flight management system and defensive systems

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading multi-discipline engineering teams through all aircraft program life cycles.
• Demonstrated leadership experience leading large teams of leaders and individual contributors

Desired skills
• Engineering or Computer Science degree
• 10 years of related aircraft engineering experience
• Engineering management experience including responsibility for program performance, cost, schedule and quality
• Large aircraft experience, including C-130, C-5 or P-3 experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience interfacing with Domestic and International customers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience engaging and presenting in executive level meetings
