This opportunity is within the F-35 Systems Engineering organization, specifically the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Management team. This position will support the DMS Management team with specific DMS responsibilities over selected F-35 IPTs and Systems

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing System/Subsystem DMS/Obsolescence efforts - CDRL reporting, Review SDRL's, analyze BOM's for obsolete parts, Interface with program IPT's and managers, customers and suppliers. Create a proactive Parts Obsolescence / DMS Plan in accordance with F35 Program Requirements. Identify, manage and track parts obsolescence issues and diminishing manufacturing source issues in accordance with Program Parts Obsolescence Plan. Work with Design Integrated Product Teams, Suppliers, and Customer to analyze obsolete items, assess impact, and propose potential resolution options. Upon mutual agreement on course of action, document final resolution of obsolescence cases. Report on closure status of all identified obsolescence cases on program as contractually required. Under guidance from more senior personnel, the successful candidate analyzes technical and obsolescence data and reports to identify potential impacts to F35 program. Ability to obtain Security Clearance
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's in an Engineering/Technical field required
Systems Engineering processes and practices experience

• Experience working independently, as well as part of a cross-domain team
• Experience managing multiple projects and working with internal customers and leadership
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to research on own and experience as an individual contributor in a team environment
• Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt and change to meet customer requirements
• Prior experience or familiarity with Aircraft Avionics and Obsolescence Management. Knowledge of obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
• Prior experience developing or evaluating Business Case Analysis or Cost-Benefit Analysis
• Experience reviewing and evaluating technical content of Proposals
• Excellent organization, time management, and executive level communication and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills enabling the candidate to operate in a high volume environment. The ability to multi task
• Must be attentive to detail
• Existing/Active Secret Security Clearance
