We are seeking a Deputy Project Leader with a strong technical background in cyber security, information technology (IT), or computer sciences to partner with the Project Leader in technical oversight, planning, development, and implementation of a medium-sized Intelligence Community (IC) work program. The IC Organization provides strategic leadership and oversight of the ICs enterprise architecture and enterprise information technology. In our FFRDC role, MITRE partners with senior executives to achieve the IC Organizations vision of an Integrated Intelligence Enterprise of secure collaboration, integration, and information sharing, by providing technical and strategic plans and solutions for complex inter-agency IT challenges.

The Deputy Project Leader is responsible for proposal development, as well as technical peer review and guidance for an experienced technical staff working to integrate information sharing, information assurance, IT advancements and innovation across the IC. The candidate will provide support to project technical tasks as well as customer engagement briefings and written reports on technical topics. The candidate will also assist the Project Leader and Task Leaders in shaping and recommending solutions for the unique IT, information - sharing, information assurance, and cyber security challenges within and across the IC enterprise. The candidate will be able to collaborate as needed across MITRE to acquire technical talent for project tasks.

Key Functions:
In this role, the candidate will provide:
Technical expertise through consulting, written, and oral products in the fields of Cyber security, IT, information - sharing, information assurance and systems integration for MITRE and sponsor teams.
Partnership to the Project Lead and the MITRE technical task leads and sponsors in addressing long-term sponsor challenges, plans, and potential solutions.
Program reviews, program management briefings, quality reviews, sponsor workshops, and meeting management to achieve outcomes, in collaboration with the Project Leader or with the task leads.


Required Qualifications:
Polygraph and strong leadership ability and proven experience in leading and managing teams.
Able to brief and engage on technical topics with senior government personnel.
Familiar with IC agencies and technical integration challenges.
Ability to provide actionable recommendations and implementation plans.

Preferred Qualifications:
MS or 10 years demonstrated experience working in the fields of cyber security, information technology, information assurance, or computer sciences with IC government sponsors.
Demonstrated experience as a peer reviewer, mentor, or technical advisor to technical teams.
Interest in building trusted relationships with the MITRE task leads and their teams.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Minimum Qualifications: BS and 8 years related experience.
