Job Details

Perform technical project management activities for Saudi US Army Foreign Military Sales project in support of the Chief Engineer, Saudi Black Hawk FMS Programs. Responsible for managing all engineering aspects of the projects assigned. Responsibilities include:
• Lead an engineering team consisting of functional/IPT engineers to deliver the product to the customer in accordance with cost, schedule, quality and technical performance requirements as defined by contract.
• Ensure that the products and services under their control are delivered in a manner that fully satisfies contract obligations
• Responsible for managing all engineering delivery requirements of the projects assigned, in addition to maintaining project personnel, cost and completion schedules and risk management plans
• Oversee technical efforts of subcontract vendors
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer technical inquiries on the assigned projects. Coordinate and resolve technical issues directly with internal and external customers
• Develop, review and approve project metrics that measure engineering cost and schedule performance to contract and customer requirements utilizing EVMS. Includes preparation and execution to performance plans
• Prepare and present formal presentations to both internal and external customers. Manage airworthiness qualification with internal and external customers
• Analyze customer requirements and prepare statements of work and specifications with minimal guidance in support of Army FMS proposals. Ensure that AEMs in support of FMS proposal activities are complete, accurate and appropriately briefed up the chain to ensure timely approval

Occasional after hours support and US and International travel (~10-15%) required. Seeking a highly motivated, flexible individual that is customer and results focused. Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, inter-personal and organizational skills are required

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in engineering or manufacturing background and/or project management background with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority. Earned value experience, Process excellence and aerospace experience preferred
