The Labs & Technical Services (L&TS) information assurance engineer is responsible for development and administration of laboratory information systems security procedures for classified information systems in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other customer specific requirements for the L&TS deliverable and non-deliverable labs. This position is for the F-35 Reprogramming Laboratory Projects

The Candidate will interpret government security directives to determine technical Information Assurance (IA) requirements and prepare written instructions to facilitate proper security implementation. Assist with the development of Authorization Packages including System Security Plans and Certification Reports. Provide security oversight for lab networks to include performing vulnerability assessments and assisting with the development of network architectures. The specific responsibilities include developing system security requirements, evaluating and deriving system requirements from government information security documentation, and translating the system requirements into implementation plans for the laboratory systems.

This position will require close coordination with the program System Security Engineering representatives, project management, system architects, chief engineers, project customers, hardware and software development teams, system integration teams, and other system security engineers implementing system security requirements and policies

Must be a US citizen. Active DoD Secret clearance required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be able to obtain SAP/SAR Clearances

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM-related discipline
Experience with Information Assurance Security.
Experience with JAFAN 6/3 and/or JSIG government directives
