As a cybersecurity professional at Lockheed Martin, you’ll protect the networks that our citizens and the world depend upon each minute: Financial assets. Healthcare information. Here, you’ll work with cybersecurity experts on the forefront of threat protection and proactive prevention. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you’ll draw on all of your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep the threats at bay

Support internal research and development efforts focused on cyber-physical security (CPS). Design and develop CPS assessment tools to identify and remediate vulnerabilities of various platforms and infrastructures. Review threat data and develop signatures for custom detection capabilities. Correlates actionable security events from various sources. Understands attack tactics, techniques, and procedures associated with advanced persistent threats. Develop analytical products fusing sensors and all-source intelligence. May conduct malware analysis of attacker tools and reverse engineer attacker encoding protocols. May design, develop, document, test, and debug software supporting cyber security operations. Apply technical penetration testing tactics, techniques and procedures identifying security rigor, attack vectors, and effective remediation steps. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of research and development to provide an advanced capability. Being able to work in a small team environment is essential.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience with CPS technologies, including ICS, SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, etc.
• Experience with analyzing vulnerabilities and securing systems running ICS-related protocols, e.g., MODBUS, PROFIBUS, etc
• Working knowledge of classical and modern control systems theory
• Proficiency with programming tools and environments, e.g., Matlab, Python, Linux OS
• Solid understanding of multivariable calculus and linear algebra
• Ability to research and develop innovative security solutions for real-time/performance-sensitive systems
• Ability to work in a small team environment

Desired skills
• Design, modeling, analysis, and control of complex systems
• CPS attack modeling and mathematical analysis
• Data mining and machine learning for real-time process monitoring, diagnosis, and control
