MITREs Defense Technology Department seeks highly motivated candidates to provide Cyberspace Operations Center, Cyber Command & Control (C2), and Cyber Situational Awareness (SA) systems engineering support to several DoD customers. This role supports a diverse set key cyberspace operations activities, serving as a thought leader to shape the DoDs strategy for cyberspace operations and integration with the broader DoD processes and functions. In this role, the successful candidate will apply systems engineering and mission analysis skills to enable and enhance DoD full spectrum Cyberspace Operations (CO). Expected activities include requirements development, doctrine analysis, mission analysis, support to deliberate planning, and collaboration across multiple US Commands and Agencies and coalition partner nations.


Required Qualifications:


  • Experience working in one or more areas of cyberspace operations.

  • Knowledge of Cyberspace Operations Joint and Service Doctrine (JP 3-12, FM 3-12, etc.)

  • Understanding of concepts for convergence of Cyberspace, Space, Electronic Warfare /Electro-Magnetic Spectrum operations

  • Possess ability to learn and operate in a Joint, Coalition and Mission Partner Environment that will enable DoD Cyberspace Operations functions.

  • Experienced in assessing current DoD Cyberspace Operations policy, standards, architecture, and technologies as a basis to lead development of proposed courses of actions, strategies, and plans.

  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Possess or be clearable for a TS/SCI clearance.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar field. Candidate should possess the ability to be responsible for deliverables or parts of deliverables to MITRE customers.
