This Lockheed Martin (LM) position is in the Enterprise Operations business area and Enterprise Business Services (EBS) business unit. This position is for an experienced information security professional with experience, knowledge and a complete understanding of computer and information systems threat.

This position will represent the Corporate Information Security (CIS) and Security Readiness Testing Red Team. The Senior Penetration Tester will perform various aspects of penetration testing across a wide variety of platforms and technologies. The role is focused specifically on the application of security assessment and penetration testing tactics, techniques, and procedures identifying security rigor, attack vectors, and effective remediation steps

Analytical and creative thinking as well as the ability to drive assignments to closure are required for this role. Collaboration and interaction with technical and senior level partners on significant business, technical and information security matters will deliver positive business results. The position entails regularly conducting penetration testing, red teaming activities and coordinating across multiple organizations in support of critical business and enterprise-wide initiatives. The responsibilities of this role have impact on LM’s environments and contracts within Lockheed Martin’s locations, business areas and business units

The Ideal candidate will have a well-rounded technical background and demonstrated experience in specific technical areas that have a solid focus in penetration testing. The candidate will be able to “hit the ground running” on performing penetration testing and red teaming on various engagements. This role requires rigorous application of analytical and problem solving skills in order to achieve successful performance results.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years:
• of hands-on-keyboard experience conducting penetration testing (minimum one year)
• of intermediate level experience with secure implementation/operation and penetration testing of Web applications and its various components (Injection, XSS, validation, session mgmt, web services, hosting, web traffic analysis, etc)
• of scripting experience (Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, Grep/Sed/Awk, etc)
• of networking knowledge – understand networking essentials, data flows, architecture, protocols, traffic, wireless, etc
• of Operating System knowledge and practical experience in various Windows and Linux, OS configuration, file system structures, OS components, mobile operating systems etc.
• Ability to obtain & retain a DoD Top Secret/SCI or other compartmentalized clearances
• Ability to travel (30%)

• Knowledge of adversarial activities in cyberspace with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) with the ability to emulate these TTP to assess vulnerability and risk
• Familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity; Offensive attack hacker mindset
• Familiarity with Information Security practices
• Experience in exploiting web apps and web services security vulnerabilities including cross-site scripting, cross site request forgery, SQL injection, DoS attacks, XML/SOAP, and API attacks
• Comfortable executing information system penetration testing techniques and tools
• Knowledge of OSINT tools and techniques
• Intelligence – indicators, contacts, information gathering, OPSEC, OSINT, etc
• Practical experience with UNIX based and Windows operating systems
• Incident Response – forensics and system/network integrity
• Password cracking, encryption and algorithm analysis, etc
• Application Analysis – Fuzzing, Reverse Engineering, Disassembling (IDA, OllyDbg)
• Demonstrated proficiency in development of applications, custom tools, and solutions in various coding languages to include SQL, python, Django, perl, ruby, PHP, Java, etc
• Experience with security tools such as – Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Burp Suite Pro, etc., as well as other various testing tools
• Skills in open source data collection (OSINT) and acquisition such as investigating, researching, google hacking, etc
• Database experience – (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Certifications (CEH, CEPT, LPT, ECSA, Security+, GIAC {Web, wireless, forensics, mobile, exploit researcher})
