In this position, the candidate will be responsible for new architecture design and development along with integration of new architectural features into existing infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of embedded cyber systems and networks. The candidate will work on all aspects of embedded cyber security architectures and technologies, including: Internal Research and Development (IRAD), Quick Reaction Prototypes, Counter-UAS systems, SCADA/ICS security, EW, vulnerability research, and Software Defined Radio / Protocol engineering. The successful candidate will work with a team of researchers and engineers who is responsible for developing next-generation cyber capabilities. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the research and development to provide advanced cyber solutions. Being able to work in a fast-paced, small team environment is essential.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
Must have the following capabilities:
• Embedded software development, including micro kernels
• Strong C/C++ and low-level (Assembly language) programming skills on multiple platforms
• Hardware, software, and firmware development experience
• Demonstrated skill with tools such as in-circuit debuggers, JTAG programmers, logic analyzers, and various other test equipment, e.g., spectrum/network analyzers, etc.
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired skills
• Experience with GSM, CDMA, 802.11, 802.15.4, and other modern wireless communications systems
• Experience with developing counter-UAS systems
• Experience with a variety of ICS/SCADA equipment, e.g., PLCs, and related protocols
• Experience with ARM/Linux platforms
• Experience with microcontrollers (PIC, AVR, 8051, etc.)
