Job Details

Responsible for technical training in a classroom environment for C2 operations and planning process for C2BMC and works as a Subject Matter Expert for training and exercise and test events as needed. Create training materials (computer-based training, instructor guides, operator manuals, assessments.) Interface with National Team functional areas to define and implement training plans and materials. Identify and solve training issues. Prepare plans, internal office communications, briefings and training material. Responsible for representing the Missile Defense National Team and C2BMC to the user community, conducting training in the field, and conducting a train-the-trainer program

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have the technical aptitude to become a Subject Matter Expert for a portion of the Ballistic Missile Defense Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) system. Successful candidate has previous experience as a platform instructor for technical training and has demonstrated experience developing training material for classroom, e-learning, or simulation systems. Possesses outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be good educator, a self-starting problem solver with the ability to work with limited supervision. Prefer that the candidate possesses knowledge relating to C2BMC C2 systems, Microsoft Office tools, Adobe Captivate and Adobe Photoshop

Desired skills
Desire background experience in adult education, technical training, and e-learning. Experience teaching command and control courses and previous experience with Missile Defense Command and Control is a plus. Desire experience building interactive training for military C2 applications and simulation programs for a software intensive system. Desire experience working in a diverse team environment with trainers and software developers, developing training lesson material, and performance laboratories
