GTRI-CTISL-SIP: PM Assistant Position

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

·         Use the MS Project scheduling and control tools to monitor program status per a plan, track completed tasks, apply task filters, and prepare various schedule views for customer consumption.

·         Ability to work well with others to enable tracking the progress and quality of work performed by team members.

·         Able to support customer Status Report generation through MS Word document word-processing, MS Excel spreadsheet financial calculations, and MS Excel creation of graphs and charts for statistical data display.

·         Experience and proficiency using MS PowerPoint and MS Visio for project communication and organization.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.

·         Extremely timely and organized with the ability to change priorities on the fly as directed in a chaotic environment.

·         Willingness to develop materials for and lead efforts to train operators in using internet based systems.

·         Support the development, cost analysis, review, and delivery of one, two, or more simultaneous proposals.

·         Some travel will be required.

·         Able to acquire and maintain a US Government security clearance- US Citizen

·        .Some course work or prior experience in performing configuration management activities using software such as GIT, Subversion (SVN), MKS, PVCS, CVS, RCS, or similar others is a plus!

·        Experience using the Atlassian or similar tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SourceTree, or related others is a plus!

·         Some programming, database, or Linux operating system course work or on the job experience is a plus! Also acceptable if multiple years of experience working in engineering or software teams with others using these skills.

·         Experience in a US government defense contracting environment a plus!
