Seeking an experienced engineer for assignment to the Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) System Engineering (SE) Team. The SE Manager will support the Chief System Engineer (CSE), as well as, have direct supervisory responsibility for all system engineers assigned to the CRH SE Team. The SE Manager will work closely with the CSE to plan and manage the system engineering work in support of the program. The individual will be responsible for coordination of technical efforts in accordance with the SEIT project SOW, CDRLs, the project IMP, and the project IMS

The responsibilities of the SE Manager will include, but are not limited to: Requirements Development and Management, Risk Management, System Integration and Issue Resolution, Verification Planning, Trade Study activities, Technical Review coordination, as well as, support of any proposal activities. The individual should have experience and an understanding of Earned Value Management and will have the Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for the System Engineering Integration Team (SEIT)

Basic Qualifications
Qualifications:  BS degree in an engineering discipline is required. Formal education in System Engineering and/or engineering MS degree is a plus. This job requires an understanding of the operation and interrelationships of aircraft systems; an appreciation for the impact that configuration or requirements changes may have on performance related attributes, cost and schedule.  The individual will need to be able to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure the successful integration of design solutions and changes. The candidate shall have solid project management skills. 14+ years of experience in system engineering, in the analysis, design and/or test of helicopter systems is desired. 

• Seeking a candidate that is well organized, and highly motivated, with proven management, technical, and business judgment;
• The candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to achieve results
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and supervisory skills
• Experience and proficiency with requirements management tools such as DOORS is preferred
