We are seeking a Configuration Management Analyst for the CH-53K Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Program. The CM Analyst will directly assist the CM Manager in the successful and on time execution all LRIP CM tasks and activities, including but not limited to:
• Change management of LRIP baseline documentation and data, including oversight of Change Boards and Engineering Change releases
• Coordination of LRIP and SDD and SDTA changes
• Performing Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
• Liaison with customers (internal and external)
• Control of CM processes for DEP 3 Supplier data and documents
• Oversight of CM processes used for Model Based Definition and how implemented in LCA
• Preparation and on time delivery of new business proposals
• CDRL preparation and delivery
• Data mining and providing program metrics for visibility to status of proposed and completed changes, including ECs, drawings/model, ECPs and RFDs. Also produce and publish BOM stability metrics.
• EVM including set up/revision to IMS, monthly ETCs and as required EACs

This is a Configuration Management Services position that requires the ability to manage multiple complex activities including the development and completion of Engineering Change Proposals, creation of customer deliverables lists and products, audit plans and execution of audits, and other related configuration management tasks. Duties include being an effective point of contact for the program and engineering office for all configuration management tasks and to be responsible for the on-time completion of error-free work products

Tasks require effective communication skills and the creation and presentation of reports, slide presentations, and oral discussion content. Routine activities include the creation and supporting of engineering changes, engineering instructions, cost and schedule management, and the ability to work effectively with external customers and upper Sikorsky management. A high degree of initiative and the ability to initiate action is required


This position requires the individual to organize work and to complete work to established schedules and cost plans. The ability to organize, plan, influence, and coordinate non direct reports is needed
The candidate who fills this position will provide leadership and technical support for configuration management processes supporting a platform team. Activities include:

• Responsibility for several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project
• Contribution to their team or department by applying their knowledge of one or more functional areas
• Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others
• Has in depth knowledge of the configuration management discipline and role and the demonstrated ability to lead others involved in configuration management tasks

This position is part of the SEIT (Sys Eng. Int. Team) and will be in the programmatic reporting structure of the CH-53K Chief System Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS degree w/4–7+ years experience
• MA/MS degree w/2–5+ years experience

Desired skills
*Experience / Qualifications
Engineering degree preferred. Experience with Model Based Definition product definition CAD models and data sets utilizing LCA/CATIA V5 is highly desirable. Past experience developing program configuration management plans, cost estimates, data mining, and organizing and leading team activities is a must. Experience working with government and commercial customers is preferred. Government clearance is beneficial, but not required. However, the ability to qualify for government clearance is necessary
