This role supports the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) engineering organizations to develop and integrate procedures that ensure the baseline is clear. Maintaining the technical baseline of a major defense acquisition is essential to both the engineering and business rhythm, ultimately ensuring success of the Mission. Critical thinking is required to develop and manage the change management procedures for the entire SBIRS System (Ground & Space development, Sustainment). Role includes, but is not limited to:
- Analyzing changes coming through the system, assisting in assessing impacts to other organizations, and perform the mechanics of updating the baseline.
- Facilitating Change Boards meetings, documenting roster on each package approved with minutes, actions and final board decision
- Processing all configuration management changes (classified and unclassified) through EPDM for release
- Creating and managing all change objects in EPDM (change request, change notice and change tasks)
- Auditing all configuration status accounting data on CM products
- Creating and maintaining metrics for process improvement
- Supporting documentation vaulting on SBIRS SharePoint
- Mentoring junior team members
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen and must have an active Final Secret or higher Clearance to be considered for this role

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with EPDM, SAP/ERP, EDW, PMP, DOORS, Microsoft Office
- Experience with understanding/interpreting the CDRLs
- Experience with keeping records and supporting government and internal audits
- Experience in communication with Program management/ internal organizations and Customer representatives
- Experience in providing training and creating training material
- Ability to coordinate and lead Change Control Board meetings
- Ability to track multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to create and modify processes used based on evolving needs of the program
- Ability to document information in a searchable database such as SharePoint, EPDM and group folders
- Ability to seek out information when needed rather than wait for others to provide
- Excels in written and verbal communication
- Must have an active Final Secret or higher Clearance to be considered for this role

Desired skills
- Experience with Enterprise policies, i.e. Command Media
- Experience with interpreting CAD drawings
- Experience in BOEs to support proposal activities
- Experience in working directly with manufacturing teams
- Knowledge of QNote process
- Ability to identify process deficiencies and implement process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI
