Job Details

Deputy Lead for Configuration Management group on an ADP program implementing the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and CM process across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will manage the configuration of product and documentation baselines. Responsibilities will include defining the initial configuration items, manage/coordinate the change process, host periodic Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), prepare and release CCB meeting minutes to active CCB members. As the Configuration Management lead responsibilities will include all contract deliverable items, tracking, reviewing and delivering data to the customer to meet contractual deadlines. The CM group is responsible for conducting Physical Configuration Audits and selling off hardware items to the customer. As the lead the selected applicant will be responsible to estimating future efforts, generating Basis of Estimates and tracking headcounts and budget on current efforts. An understanding of Unique Identification of components and sub-components is desired, along with good written and verbal communication skills. Being fluent with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are also highly desirable. Other functions may include process improvement, technical planning, tool evaluation and implementation and technical support to engineering and program management.

Periodic travel is required

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

**Must have a Current / Active (TS/SCI) Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access.**

Basic Qualifications
• Management of Documents or Government Property
• Experience with Unique Identification (UID) marking and tracking
• Experience with Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) changes and tracking

Desired skills
• Previous experience with DOORS Requirements database
• Experience with Self Assessments
• Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
• Fluent with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good written and verbal communication
• Must be able to interface with the customer
