Computer Scientist/Engineer with Experience in Software Development

The National Institute of Standards and Technology seeks a candidate to develop modeling and simulation software in support of its ongoing research in evaluating future generation wireless communication networks and protocols. The candidate must have strong programming skills in C/C++/Python in Linux environments. Familiarity with Matlab and the network simulation tool, ns-3 is a plus.

The key objectives include the development of modeling, measurement tools, and algorithms to evaluate and optimize the performance of wireless communication systems and protocols.

Expertise in object-oriented programming and software design and development as well as familiarity with statistical analysis is required. Applicants must have at least Masters level training in Computer Science/Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
