The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is looking for exceptional Entry Level candidates who have recently graduated or will graduate in the next twelve months with a degree in Computer Engineering.

Research Engineer I

This is the initial rank held by research personnel who have at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

Research Engineer II

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor’s degree, or
  • A Doctoral degree in Computer Engineering.


  • In-Major GPA above 3.0 or proof of industry recognition of performance in this field
  • US Citizenship which is required to obtain a DoD security clearance


  • We like to see applicants with student employment such as co-ops, internships, GRAs or student assitantships that demonstrate domain and functional experience in support of their academic studies and the work that we do.
