Job Details

This computer systems architect position is located with the historic Skunk Works in Palmdale, California. The selected applicant will develop, implement and gain customer concurrence on Security Systems Architecture for both enterprise and embedded systems within Advanced Development Programs (ADP). In addition, the candidate will provide system security engineering designs and implementation to all aspects of Cybersecurity/System Security Engineering. Tasks will include: development of assessments and mitigation of system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validate system security requirements definition and analysis are built into the systems and software architecture; establish and implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures (processes) to address emerging technologies and threats; verify security requirements; perform system assessment and authorization (A&A) planning, testing, and liaison activities. The selected candidate will be responsible for interfacing with various disciplines including software development teams, Systems Engineering, System Integration, and Test engineering. May also interface with the Chief Architect or Chief Engineer as needed.

Candidate must have experience in developing Security Systems Architecture, Anti-Tamper approaches with embedded systems. Candidate must also have experience designing, architecting and integrating real time aircraft mission systems & simulations, with specific experience developing software and system designs based on object-oriented and advanced technical concepts, methodologies, technology, theories, and techniques

Candidate will ensure that classified information systems (IS) are in compliance with the Joint Security Implementation Guide (JSIG) government directive. Experience with the Joint Air Force/Army/Navy (JAFAN 6/3) government directive is also valued. Candidate will assist with interpretation of government system security directives (such as DoD Instruction 8500.01) to determine technical system security requirements and prepare System Security Plans (SSPs), Protection Profiles, and reports associated with system assessment & authorization in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
Ability to work through complex problems successfully
Security + certification
