Our mission, in Advanced Concepts, is to define next generation air vehicles. As part of Sikorsky Innovations, you will meld the latest, state-of-the art technology with emerging customer needs. Be on a team that is developing that next generation rotorcraft and help strengthen Sikorsky’s business and market position. An Intern is needed to help blend art with physics; technology and customer needs. Incorporate advanced technologies into innovative, viable, competitive, customer-focused aircraft concepts.The candidate will be responsible for using a basic understanding of engineering principles and practice to  design and analyze next generation air vehicles and associated, enabling technologies.   The candidate will be expected to be able to apply this knowledge in a realistic manner.   The candidate will be responsible to developing analysis methodologies, possibly using high-level programming languages; benchmarking and assessing various alternatives; and preparing results and conclusions.The candidate will be expected to be able to apply this knowledge in a realistic manner

Basic Qualifications
Pursing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Desired skills
The candidate will be naturally self-starting and self-motivated, have a genuine interest in aircraft and aviation, balance risk and innovation, and be pragmatic and data driven. The candidate will be able to clearly and concisely explain an idea or solution (back-of-the-envelope analysis) to substantiate or validate an approach
