Job Details

The COMSEC Analyst reports directly to the C2BMC National Team COMSEC Manager and is responsible for overseeing all procurement, fielding, and sustainment of crypto/keying material and devices across the C2BMC Operational system. He/she will interface with multiple government agencies and military personnel/systems as well as other functional areas across the program
Execute a variety of Sustainment Engineering tasks
Occasional travel to remote sites will be required

Basic Qualifications
Possess a minimum of two (2) years experience in National Security Agency NSA COMSEC Account Manager of a DoD account

Possess a minimum of two (2) years experience in telecommunications circuit/network encryption requirements to include in-depth knowledge of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) equipment, operation, and associated keying material

Provide proof of supervisory or management experience in support of sub-accounts and users in day to day operations
Have ability to properly track and document the issuance, inventory, and receipt of COMSEC materials

Understand the physical security requirements for open and closed storage of COMSEC materials

Be familiar with IT security requirements, technical security countermeasures, risk management processes, contingency planning, emergency action procedures, and data communications networking in a classified environment

Have the ability to teach and instruct users on the proper use and protection of COMSEC material and conduct annual training with COMSEC Responsible Officers (CRO)s.

Be highly proficient with AN/PYQ-10 fill devices and requirements

Be proficient in the extensive practical application of the communications infrastructure and network configuration of a myriad of network encryptors to include but not limited to: KIV-7M, KG-84A, and AN/PSC-5D Radios
Have experience with secure telephony devices to include but not limited to: Secure Terminal Equipment (STE) w/ KSV-21, Iridium, and DRSN IST-2
Demonstrate the ability to provide advanced troubleshooting on COMSEC devices including contacting technical resources from the manufacturer
Possess excellent written and oral communications skills

Desired skills
Possess experience using the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related DoD requirements for protecting classified information including requirements pertaining to the general safeguarding, control, transmission, disposition and retention of classified material
