Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Chief Engineer to support the Legacy Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) and Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) initiatives.

This individual will provide technical oversight and leadership of the Legacy EBOM and CAD/CAM execution activities with a focus on ensuring the eventual retirement of EBOM from the mainframe and migration activities from CATIA V4 to CATIA V5. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for the overall technical baseline, requirements, planning and execution of these projects.

This role is the Engineering peer to the Aero-IT Applications Portfolio Manager (APM) and works daily with the APM to ensure adherence to the baseline as well as maintain the delivery rhythm. This position resides in Fort Worth TX

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and will require a Secret security clearance

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline required
-Software and/or Hardware Development Lifecycle experience
-Experience with systems and/or software engineering development lifecycle models

Desired skills
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Systems architecture experience.
-Knowledge of Aeronautics Engineering Processes.
-Familiarity with EDFS, MPRS, PDDS or other BTP Release system
-Familiarity with F-16, F-22, F-35 or other platforms
-Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools such as CATIA
-Ability to rapidly assimilate complex technical information and provide technical guidance.
-Ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to a wide variety of target stakeholders.
-Must be willing to mentor junior-level team members
