The selected candidate will perform the role of release management for the Cedalion Program. In this position, the candidate will coordinate and oversee the program deployments to FVEY partner sites and Army sites as well as provide backup support to release managers deploying to the customers datacenters (both CONUS and OCONUS). This position will integrate into the operational support team, to support user's needs for the sites assigned. This position requires excellent user and customer coordination to plan deployments, coordinate overview of content changes for the releases, coordinate training, coordinate deployments with the program engineering team and oversee those deployments, working through any issues and patches required to ensure successful operations for our program partners and users. This includes supporting high priority operational issues and scheduled maintenance releases in addition to all on-going and future development projects. Future development includes new functionality as well as continuing the transition of the Cedalion program towards DevOps and smaller, more frequent capability drops through architecture modernization and evolution

The candidate will provide deployment scheduling, support to the user community, advocating the user's needs for release updates and defect work off within the development efforts. This position coordinates regularly with Government customers, partners, users, the development and Technical Leadership to LM employees and program Subcontractors.

The candidate will be required to represent Lockheed Martin and the Cedalion program at customer meetings and briefings in order to communicate technical and schedule status, technical updates, issue resolution, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.

The candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required

Must have active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Clearance prior to start

Demonstrated understanding of GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) / IMINT (Imagery Intelligence)

Experience coordinating with Government customers (NGA - National Geospatial Intelligence Agency) and IC (Intelligence Community) user communities

Ability to instill complex technical and management data to a layperson’s understanding with conciseness, clarity, and accuracy

Desired skills
Experience with Geospatial, Image Intelligence, and Situational Awareness systems.

Experience with National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), familiarity with the Cedalion system, the NSG/ASG enterprise, customer and User community

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level

Demonstrated teamwork and leadership
