Job Details

The successful candidate will provide instruction beginning Spring semester 2018 (January 1, 2018) to undergraduate students in the areas of electrical engineering. Courses may focus on engineering mathematics, Digital Design, Matlab programming, Electronic Devices, Linear Systems, Control Systems, Digital Communication, Digital Integrated Circuit Design, and C Programming. Additional responsibilities may include advising and developing senior design projects as well as other activities assigned by the program director. Significant service to the student and community is expected.

100% Teaching, research and service. Faculty member will be required to teach, including lecturing, course material development, mentoring senior design students, as well as advising/mentoring graduate students. Candidate will be expected to provide academic and administrative service by serving on department, college and university committees, serving as a reviewer of technical papers and proposals, and demonstrating leadership in one or more professional societies.

This position is at the Lake Campus of Wright State University in Celina, Ohio which is located approximately 85 miles northwest of Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio.


Required:  An earned Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline before December 31, 2017; knowledge of and/or experience working with adults

Preferred:  Successful university level teaching experience; knowledge of technology as a tool in teaching and learning; working with diverse backgrounds and settings; evidence of scholarly potential and of service to the academic community.
